Footprintr values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when using the Footprintr mobile application and related services.

• Authentication identifiers provided by Firebase Authentication
• Username or profile information you choose to provide

Usage and Habit Data

• Habits you create
• Habit completion history and streak data
• Points, badges, and progress metrics
• App interaction data necessary to operate core features

Device and Technical Information

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Crash diagnostics and performance data (if enabled)

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we store a push notification token to deliver reminders and updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

How We Use Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Footprintr app
• Maintain your account and saved progress
• Calculate streaks, points, and achievements
• Send optional reminders and service notifications
• Improve app reliability and performance
• Protect against fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data.

Data Storage and Security

Footprintr uses trusted third-party infrastructure, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud, to securely store data. We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting us.

After a verified deletion request, personal data is removed from active systems within approximately 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Third-Party Services

Footprintr relies on the following service providers:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Notifications)
• Google Play services (app distribution and billing)

These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
